As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Masters Degree working on my Ph.D., a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, a Certified Hypnotherapist and a Professor, my passion and interest for the field of psychology started at age 22 when I started working with my father a physician and an expert in the field of weight-loss and eating disorders.
My interest in psychology led me to be a supervisee of the great Salvador Minuchin, the founder of Structural Family Therapy. I pursued my Marriage and Family Therapy and Hypnosis degrees after my undergraduate degree in Psychology. My expertise is in working with individuals, family relational and employee/employer relational issues, to include depression, anxiety, poor academic performance, lack of motivation, weight-loss and gender identity issues. I am a strong believer in self-awareness of all my patients since by becoming aware about themselves, this can lead into happier relationships and connections with others.
